This policy explains what information Your Aligned Self ("we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website and purchasing a reading, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

What you give us: your first name, email address, and the birth details and quiz answers you enter (birth date, optional birth time, birth place, and the reflections you select). We use these to generate and deliver your personalized reading.
Payment information: when you purchase, payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not see or store your full card details.
Usage information: basic technical data (such as device and pages visited) and, where enabled, advertising/analytics identifiers (for example a Meta Pixel) to measure and improve our ads.

How we use your information

To compute your chart and generate, render, and deliver your reading, audio, and related files.
To email you your reading and customer-service messages, and, if you opt in, occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To operate, secure, and improve the service, and to measure advertising.

Service providers we share with

We share the minimum necessary data with the providers that run the service: payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), AI text generation (Anthropic), voice/audio (ElevenLabs), hosting (Railway, Vercel), and, where enabled, advertising measurement (Meta). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep your reading and the details used to create it so you can access your vault and request a free re-read. You may ask us to delete your data at any time (see below), subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Your choices and rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. To make a request, reply to your delivery email or contact us.

Children

Our service is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Cookies and tracking

We use only essential functionality plus, where enabled, advertising/analytics pixels to measure campaigns. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective" date above shows the latest version.
